Most recently, he has been working with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety as they look to implement medication-assisted treatment in state prisons for individuals who are soon exiting the system. Tony has an extensive background in facilitating LEAN/Six Sigma projects as well as developing policies and protocols.

His prior work includes serving as the Performance Improvement Coordinator for the Grady Hospital Trauma Program. Before becoming the Performance Improvement Systems Coordinator, he served as the Program Manager for child and adolescent inpatient behavioral health services at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. In addition to supporting day-to-day operations, he had the opportunity to serve as a counselor and develop program curriculum.

Tony’s career spans over 20 years – with work in community mental health, hospital systems and public health. He holds a master’s degree in human services from Liberty University.
