Sarah Edwards | Program Specialist
Sarah Edwards is a Program Specialist at Clubhouse Atlanta. She has a strong background and dedication to supporting children. Sarah worked as a Program Staff Member and Presidential Fellow at Camp Twin Lakes, a nonprofit organization that provides year-round recreational, therapeutic, and educational programs for children and young adults facing serious illnesses, disabilities, and life challenges. She has also worked one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum and other developmental disabilities as a Registered Behavior Technician.
In her role as a tutor at a Learning Center, Sarah worked with students with varying learning disabilities. She believes that all students can be taught to learn to their potential, despite their challenges of dyslexia, ADHD, or autism spectrum disorder.
Sarah transitioned from working with children with disabilities to assisting adults with mental health struggles. Her passion is to help others reach their full potential. She enjoys supporting members with their short and long-term goals through the engaging and interactive programming that Clubhouse Atlanta offers.
Sarah grew up in Dunwoody, GA. She enjoys spending time outdoors biking, running, hiking, and exploring new parks and trails. Sarah has a BS in Psychology from Georgia College and State University.
